For our holiday to the Netherlands in August 2014 I made 2 pairs of shorts for B that he wears a lot now because it's summer holidays and he doesn't have to wear his uniform!! The patterns I used are from an old 'Knippie' that I've used before and will be using again when these new shorts are too small.
The beige pair was an old pair of pants from my husband and it's great sturdy cotton fabric. If I ever find suitable fabric for boys pants, I'll probably buy the whole roll in every colour available. Until that time my husband had better keep an eye on his wardrobe ;-)
Stof is een katoenen poplin die toch wat te zacht is voor een jongensbroek die tegen een stootje moet kunnen.
The check pants are super and has gigantic pockets on the side of the legs for all kinds of treasures little boys seem to be finding everywhere. Fabric is a cotton poplin from my local Spotlight but I find it's not sturdy enough for boys pants, it's already showing some wear and tear.
