After a lovely holiday in the Netherlands where we enjoyed the last bit of summer, I came back to Australia with not only a huge jetlag but also with no desire to do any sewing.
Ik had L voor onze vakantie beloofd dat ik een jurk voor haar zou maken zoals Elsa draagt in de film Frozen. Ik had zelfs de stof al in huis maar ik kon me er niet toe zetten. Na weken dralen is het er eindelijk van gekomen en hij is af!
Uiteindelijk heb ik zelf het patroon ervoor maar bedacht want ik kon geen geschikt patroon vinden in m'n verzameling. We hebben een andere tint blauw dan Elsa maar ik geloof niet dat L dat heel erg vindt.
Before our holiday I promised L to make her an 'Elsa dress' like in the movie Frozen. I had already bought the fabric. After weeks of procrastinating I finally finished it. I ended up drawing my own pattern as I couldn't find a suitable pattern in my pattern collection. The colour is not the same as Elsa's dress but L doesn't seem to mind one bit!

Wat al die meisjes in Elsa zien is me een raadsel, Anna is toch een stuk cooler, grappiger en stoerder! Het zullen de jurk en de glitters wel zijn.
Don't know what it is with the Elsa fascination, my preference goes to Anna who is seriously cool and funny! It must be the dress and all the sparkles.
